WOS b-ball game rivaled that of the Jackals

Well, unfortunately the Jackals vs. Skyhawks game was delayed due to rain and as I type I believe that both teams are still waiting for the game to be called or canceled by either side.  The manager was great at answering questions and the students did a wonderful job taking advantage of the Q&A session.  A definite plus was the use of the tented-tables.  WOS was able to keep physically dry during the downpour although the walk back to the shuttle bus led to several students walking barefoot at the camp site due to rain-drenched sneakers.   my favorite part of the day was the ride back to camp.  Sunny the puppet stole show from Mr. Ziegler as he attempted to tell riddles to the damp campers.  Sunny is def. my new best friend.  but on a more serious note, the Jackals game being a wash out was probably better for the team seeing that they're currently 4th place in the Can-Am League.  Today's weather gave the pitcher the much needed rest he deserved and hopefully the Jackals can win their future games.  Perhaps if they took some pointers from Coach Jacobesen on how to motivate a team they too could have knock out defeats like his 12-3 victory that he scored against Mr. Ziegler's ambitious team on Tuesday (note to Z-Man: whiffle ball is just not your sport).

  2. Any skilled and successful player will tell you that when a pitch calls to you, you must swing. I have earned my place among the whiffle ball greats.
